NEW TRAINING AT SCAN

New Producer Training and Workshops

Did you ever want to have your own show on TV or learn how to do video production or editing or simply have a live talk show in studio? This is your chance. We are introducing a simple and affordable way for you to do all that!

Effective March 1st we are changing the way how you take Production Training here at SCAN TV. We are simplifying the process for you to become a Content Producer or Content Provider at SCAN TV. By taking those classes you will be certified to check out our equipment or studio.

NEW PROCEDURE FOR ORIENTATION/MEDIA LIT CLASSES

To those aspiring producers that intend on attending Orientation & Media Literacy this February 17th (the two required classes to become a Content Provider) there is a small change in how the annual fees will be collected.

First off, Orientation remains free and is open to the public, and as usual Media Literacy is a free class after you pay your annual membership dues to SCAN. However, instead of these classes being held on seperate nights like it has been done in the past, they will now be hosted on the same night back-to-back.

This means that anyone intending to sign up for Media Literacy will need to come to Orientation with two forms of proof of residency (WA Drivers License/ID, Utility Bill, etc) and their annual dues ($50- Seattle Resident, $100 - Non-Resident) in hand. Accepted forms of payment are cash, Visa/Mastercard, or check.

As stated earlier, Orientation is still free and open to the public, the only difference is that you will need to be prepared to show residency and pay your dues upon completion of Orientation before you will be able to attend Media Literacy that same night.

We believe that this change will help streamline our educational process and be significantly more convenient for our potential providers, as they no longer have to come back two separate nights before being able to submit shows to SCAN.
